When is Fischerwirt con amore open?
We are open daily – no closing day. Hot kitchen: Monday to Thursday 11:30–14:00 and 17:00–21:30, Friday and Saturday continuously 11:30–21:30, Sundays and public holidays continuously 11:30–21:00. Between 14:00 and 17:00 (Mon–Thu) we serve drinks and coffee – the restaurant stays open.
How can I reserve a table?
Easiest online via the reservation widget on our “Reservation” page, or by phone at +43 664 2666096. For groups and celebrations, use the form or email info@conamore.at.
Do you offer a lunch menu?
Yes. Monday to Friday we serve a lunch menu for €13.50: pasta or pizza of the day with a small salad. Short on time? You're welcome to pre-order by phone.
Is there parking?
Yes, there is parking directly in front of the restaurant and nearby. Our quiet location at the Kreuzbergl makes us easy to reach, especially at lunchtime.
Are children and families welcome?
Absolutely. We are a family-friendly restaurant, especially on Sundays and holidays. For children we offer easy options like pizza and pasta.
Do you have vegetarian dishes?
Yes. Our seasonal menu always includes vegetarian antipasti, pasta and pizza. Just let us know about any preferences or intolerances.
Can I order pizza to take away?
Yes, our Neapolitan pizza is also available to take away. Best to pre-order by phone at +43 664 2666096.
How do you make your pizza dough?
Our Neapolitan-style pizza dough rests for 48 to 72 hours. Tipo-00 flour, water, yeast and salt are worked into a soft dough that ferments slowly at room temperature. In the wood-fired stone oven at around 480–485 °C the pizza bakes in 60 to 90 seconds – creating the airy, lightly charred crust and the soft centre. Fior di Latte instead of industrial mozzarella, San Marzano tomatoes as the base.
Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?
Yes, our menu always includes vegetarian dishes: salads, vegetarian pizza (e.g. Margherita, Bufala, Verdure, Tartufo), pasta al pomodoro, gnocchi alla sorrentina, risotto and seasonal starters. Vegan dishes (without dairy and eggs) are possible in coordination with our team – just let us know.
Can I book for a celebration or company event?
Yes, absolutely. Fischerwirt con amore is suitable for birthdays, company dinners, Christmas meals, family gatherings and special occasions. We put together a suitable menu and coordinate the evening with you. The easiest way is to enquire by phone (+43 664 2666096) or email (info@conamore.at).
Where exactly is the restaurant?
We are quietly located at the Kreuzbergl in Klagenfurt, at Ziggulnstraße 37, near the Kreuzbergl pond – away from the city-centre bustle, yet easy to reach.
Is Fischerwirt con amore right at Lake Wörthersee?
No. Fischerwirt con amore is not located directly at Lake Wörthersee, but at the Kreuzbergl pond in Klagenfurt – quietly set in the green, with a terrace at the pond and only a few minutes from the city centre.
Is there a restaurant in Klagenfurt with both pizza and fish?
Yes. Fischerwirt con amore combines Neapolitan wood-fired pizza with fish dishes, pasta and antipasti – at one location at the Kreuzbergl pond, with a terrace in the green.
Do you have a terrace?
Yes. Our shady terrace sits right at the Kreuzbergl pond, surrounded by green – ideal for lunch, an aperitivo or an evening among friends. In fine weather we recommend booking ahead.
Where can I find allergen information?
Every dish on our menu is labelled with the statutory allergen codes (A–R). If you have intolerances or allergies, just let us know – we're happy to help you choose.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, well-behaved dogs are warmly welcome – especially on our terrace at the Kreuzbergl pond. Feel free to bring your four-legged friend along for a meal in the green.
Can I come without a reservation?
Yes, we welcome walk-ins. That said, we recommend a reservation for evenings and weekends – especially for the terrace at the Kreuzbergl pond, which fills up quickly in summer. Easiest online or by phone at +43 664 2666096.
How often does the menu change?
Our seasonal specials change monthly – depending on what's fresh and at its best. The classics (pizza, pasta, fish dishes, antipasti) remain on the permanent menu. So there's always a reason to come back.
What fish dishes do you offer?
Fish is a real mainstay here – not just a side note. Permanent dishes include Carinthian char (trota al burro nocciola with mashed potatoes), spaghetti alle vongole with fresh clams and calamari fritti. Seasonal fish specials change depending on what's available. We cook fish the Mediterranean way – with olive oil, herbs and Carinthian pumpkin-seed oil.
Which pizza do you recommend?
Hard to say! The best way to taste our ingredients is the Margherita or the Bufala: San Marzano tomatoes, Fior di Latte or creamy buffalo mozzarella and Parmesan – just a few ingredients that speak for themselves. If you like it hot, go for the Salamino Piccante with its properly spicy salami. All from the wood-fired stone oven at around 480 °C, Neapolitan-style: airy crust, soft centre.
What is the approximate price range?
The lunch menu (Mon–Fri) starts at €13.50. For dinner, pizza and pasta are mid-range; fish and main courses are a bit higher – overall fair value for the quality on offer. A glass of wine, antipasti and dessert are of course available too.
Can I celebrate my birthday at your restaurant?

Where can you eat outside in a relaxed setting in Klagenfurt?
On our terrace at the Kreuzbergl pond – shady, quiet, surrounded by green and well away from the city-centre bustle. In summer it's one of our favourite spots: pizza, fish or pasta with a view of the pond, an aperitivo in the afternoon or a relaxed evening. Parking is directly in front.
