What is Törggelen?

In South Tyrol, Törggelen is simply part of autumn. The name comes from the "Torggl", the old wine press. Once the young wine is ready and the work in the vineyard is done, people sit down together: a glass, something good to eat, music. No grand ceremony, just a lovely afternoon that turns into an evening.

We wanted one of those too - here at the Kreuzberglteich. Three minutes from the centre, quiet and green, and you can park right outside the door.
