How an evening with us works
How we celebrate your birthday
Our favourite birthday is the one where nobody reaches for the menu, because the food simply arrives. You sit down at one long table, it starts with an aperitivo and antipasti to share, then pizza and pasta land in the middle, later fish or meat – everyone takes what they fancy and passes it on. This tavolata style is what makes the evening sociable: you stay in conversation, get up now and then, swap seats, instead of sitting in isolation in front of your own plate. The shared table
We set you one connected table so the whole group really is together – not split across three small ones. You set the pace: we bring the courses with plenty of time to talk, toast and laugh. There's nothing to pre-order and nothing to memorise; just tell us your wishes and any intolerances in advance, and we'll handle the rest.
Cake, candles and little surprises
For many, the family birthday cake is part of it – just bring it along, we'll keep it cool, cut it and create the moment with candles. A small surprise is easy to work in, too: a gift quietly kept ready, a song at the right time, or simply an agreed signal for when things begin. Give us a quick heads-up and we'll play along. And if you'd rather finish Italian, there's tiramisu & co. fresh from the kitchen.
Small group or long table
For four or six of you, you celebrate à la carte as usual – everyone orders what they like, and the cake comes at the end. From around eight guests it becomes a proper table: we then put together a shared set menu or a sharing buffet in advance, so service stays smooth and everyone eats at the same time. There's plenty of room above that – up to around 80 guests celebrate with us, large groups always with an agreed menu. We'll help you judge which option suits your group size.
Enquiring and reserving
Up to eight people, a normal table reservation is enough – online or by phone. From nine people the birthday runs through the celebrations form: you give the date, number of guests and wishes, we get back to you with a concrete proposal, and the date is firmly secured with a small deposit that is credited in full against your bill during the visit. Celebrate without the organising stress
Tell us the occasion, date, number of guests and wishes via the celebrations form – we usually get back to you within one to two days with a concrete proposal including prices. You'll get an acknowledgement by email right after sending.

Frequently asked questions about birthdays
May we bring our own cake?
Yes, for birthdays and celebrations your own cake is welcome. Just tick the box in the form.
From how many guests is it a group?
From around 8 guests we are happy to plan a shared menu or buffet. Smaller groups are of course welcome à la carte too.
How large can our celebration be?
We host celebrations of up to around 80 guests. To keep everything running smoothly at that size, large groups dine from a shared set menu instead of à la carte – we put it together with you in advance.
Is a deposit required?
From 9 guests a deposit of €15 per person is required. It secures your booking and is fully credited towards your bill during your visit. You'll receive the bank details by email once we've fixed the details together. If you cancel at least 48 hours before the date, the deposit is refunded or, if you prefer, issued as a voucher. Please let us know the expected number of guests about 7 days in advance; you can adjust the exact number up to 1 day before – after that it is binding, and for guests missing at short notice the deposit may be retained proportionally.
How quickly will we hear back?
Right after submitting you'll get a confirmation by email. We personally get back to you, usually within one to two days, with a proposal.

Tell us the occasion and the group you have in mind – we'll take care of the table, the tavolata and the cake's big moment. The earlier you enquire, the more likely your favourite date is still free.
